As Tim Walz, a gun owner, went from being a newbie small-town congressman to a state governor, he saw American gun violence growing out of control and his views on gun regulation evolved accordingly. “Like America, I’ve seen enough of this,” he said. “I’ve seen enough of this carnage.”

The New York Times explains why this is a BAD thing.

Tim #Walz said that when he signed the school lunch bill he was at an elementary school, in a classroom, and he was explaining to the kids what it meant. He said "now all your friends can eat." And they mobbed him because they immediately knew exactly what it meant and why it mattered. That's the backstory of the ecstatic photos with the kids. You don't need much more than that to know why you should #VoteBlue. Bringing back the joy.
