ArsTechnica: HP printers stop working with HP toner due to update
This weekend I spent at least 3 hours opening and cleaning our #HP OfficeJet 6900 [1] which couldn't find its print head anymore. Even went to the hardware store to get myself a 0.5mm torx. Wanted to set an example to our daughter, WE FIX DEVICES HERE, but failed. Brand Cardridge replacement is over >€100 as well... Think we will go printerless from now on, we live above a public library which has some internet printing scheme in case of 'emergency'.
