Transphobia is deeply rooted in misogyny.
It’s the idea that women should look a certain way, based on sexist ideas of female sexuality through the male gaze, and should act a certain way, based on a patriarchal belief system.
It’s the idea women are only good for procreation and satisfying men sexually.
That’s why we never hear about trans men.

Under executive order by Donald Trump, the US National Park Service has removed the T from LGBT and erased trans people from the "LGB civil rights" movement which they now call "lesbian, gay, bisexual (LGB)". Black Trans women were essential to the Stonewall riots, but 50 years later are still being murdered at an unprecedented rate. Now their contribution has been completely erased.
