@Gargron yay! i got it! i LOOOOOVE that #Monsterdon is my most used tag. i obvs RT/boost A LOT (it wasn’t until i got here that i reckoned boosts are treated as reposts, like Tumblr). but, did i break Mastodon? it says am at the top 0% 😳

update: ooh i hadn’t even noticed i get, like, a D&D title? i love that! also, is Bernie the Sanders one? cuz that’s just funny, LMAO.

#Wrapstodon or smth
Idk, my instance doesn't have the recap feature yet...

@Gargron Thank you! This is fun.

It's also useful. Not sure if this was an intentional choice on your part, but showing each person's top hashtag is helping me find people I want to follow.

@ctietze oh yeah, was wondering if i'd missed something here... christ, not even a "share" button or something on that thing. no wonder folks are doing the "let me share a screenshot of this thing" bollocks

Ah, so you need to see "All Notifications" to have the #Wrapstodon ""link"" show up. Only it's not a link, it's a <button> with React.js event listener, so you can't share it as a link :(

@Gargron cool, Eugen. I really enjoyed the look back over the past year. Looks like #Caturday was my top post and #hockey my top #hashtag. Thank you for creating the #Wrapstodon feature.

In December 2021 I set myself a goal: Add a year-in-review feature to #Mastodon before the next December. It's December 2024 and it's finally, slowly rolling out. It's not all that it was meant to be, because we couldn't prioritize it over all the other things we work on, but I didn't want to miss another year.

My #wrapstodon saying that my 400 posts this year puts me in the top 4% of Mastodon users is probably not a good indicator of the health of the this platform.

To be clear, I don't plan on leaving or anything, but a guy that can't even get 200 followers and posts a little over once a day shouldn't be top of anything.
