Does anyone know of any #rss project that would fit this usecase?

I'm looking for something that allows me to tag RSS feeds. Folders could also potentially work, but it'd be nice if I could apply multiple tags to something and have it exist in both places. As an example, I may want to tag someone's blog with "rust", and also "database".

Additionally, it'd be really cool if I could access this on my phone and desktop. That leads me to a web based solution but 🤷

Unfortunate news, the read-it-later app I’ve been using is being sold to an AI company. Anyone have any good replacements? I’m looking for read-it-later and newsletters. RSS is a plus. No AI is a bigger plus

Edit: Omnivore didn't get bought, it is open source. The devs got hired. I'm still looking for another app though 🙂

I think that it is a super often shared #mastodon pro tip, but in light of @pluralistic recent plea for #rss i post this again:

You can get an RSS feed for any mastodon account by appending ".rss" to the URL.

My local public transit - @hochbahn - runs a mastodon account and also provides info about service disruptions there. So i just subscribe to that account, instead using apps like Telegram or Notify for it. No ads, no tracking.

I've posted another Jenspiration from the Archives on my blog!

This one is kind of funny and sad to look back at as I was clearly dealing with undiagnosed ADHD and mental health... stuff
oh boyyy there's gonna be more of that as I post more archive comics!

(EDIT: Yes apparently wordpress has automatic #rss stuff! So here's my blog! jenniegyllblad.co.uk/wp/feed/
Thank you @catmachine !)

How do folks deal with #youtube premiers via #RSS? The story turns up in my feed before i can watch the video (the player says "live in XX hours") and then it just falls off the end of the unread list as new items from other feeds pile in...

The creator clearly views this as an important work because they've chosen a date for it to go live, but by doing that I just don't ever get to watch the video

I don't know who needs to hear this, but blogs are getting more popular again, and RSS feeds are still very much a thing.

Most blogging platforms generate an RSS feed URL and I shouldn't need to look at your source code to find the link!
