I still love this image / moment in time so much. I feel like people who dont ride public transit really miss out on a lot of really simple human interaction stuff. This print is a bit damaged and is priced as such

...it's another thing entirely to test in production with OT / ICS systems (especially with passengers on board).

Article "(Washington DC) Metro train risks potential collision in Alexandria, Virginia":

Text from article: The WMSC said it looked into what went wrong and found out that while Metro had been doing routine maintenance testing, employees accidentally overrode the so-called Automatic Train Protection system, which prevents trains from colliding with each other. That led to the Blue Line train operator receiving a command, allowing the movement of 55 mph when it should have been 0 mph. To prevent a similarly dangerous situation from happening again, the safety commission said Metro has agreed to stop doing such testing when passengers are riding trains and to only use out-of-service sections of track. WMSC said Metro is also doing a review to make sure there are no similar potential hazards.
