Another portrait. Two Arri tungsten lights, one at 90° with a softbox and one at 45° without, but aiming at the hair. No gels this time. There was also a reflector but I forgot to move it for this pose so it's kind of irrelevant.

WHY?! Why do those #believeinfilm and #filmisnotdead photographers present their work in digital media like here?

I got a roll of Kodak 200 film developed that I shot over the last two weeks, and I’m so happy with this portrait of ‘Billy’ the goat. He belongs to a local farmer and has been munching on grass and brambles in our garden for the last few months.

Tried some of this fancy new "colour film" from Kodak, not sure there's any future in it, but it's a neat trick. They call this one Gold ;)

Am I right in thinking that out of date film that is less than a year out of date isn't really out of date for enthusiast use? This is from my memories of using film in the 80's

I wanted to see if I can recreate Ché Aimee Dorval's album cover for The Widow. I used my two Arri tungsten lights, one 300W with a blue gel, and one 650W with a red gel and a softbox.

Ohlsdorf Cemetery between Heavy Summer Rains

I was at a random convenience store and they had a shelf of Fuji Pro 400H and Provia 100F in 120 for $5 a roll. After a lovely chat they were more than happy for me to buy the whole stock of about twenty rolls since they never sell them.
I just woke up and I'm quite upset to discover I was literally dreaming of film and there's no stash of Fuji in my fridge 😭

@lxak Most #BelieveInFilm posts should fit that definition, I think.

At a café in Montmartre, Paris. When I saw the vase in front of that red window I wanted to give it a shot even though it was fairly dark inside. Rested the camera on my teacup and hoped for the best.

The jardin des Tuileries was a little barren, but I don't know what else you could expect in the middle of February. I tried out a wider lens, and Amelia tried out a new, Parisian haircut.
