The film version of my image Alleviate. I took this frame while exploring the #PNW coasts of #Washington and the #olympicnationalpark area.
I loved the way the sunlight was highlighting the edges of all the moss on these Alder trees. A beautiful display of #nature

This was a fairly dark negative and it took a bunch of tries to get a decent print.
I probably also need to adjust my feelings for exposure times to reflect the season.
Also, I've been spending more time working actually at my work lately, which interferes with getting optimal sunlight conditions :)

Public Service Announcement for the analog photography community: new X-ray scanners in airports will permanently ruin your films. Period. Old rules such as "It's ok under XXX ASA" are obsolete: I had a 400 film completely ruined and a few 160 badly damaged, after just two scans.
The technical name of these new scanners is "CT-scanner" and are often designated by security agents as "3D scanner" or simply "Modern scanner".
My son is in the school band.
Which means I go to some football games.
I don't actually like football.
But I do like nighttime photography!
(Unfortunately we lost; pretty badly).
Dear film photography community!
I have an Ektar 100 that expired two years ago (03/2022 exp date), but it was kept in a fridge all the time and couple months ago when I noticed the expiration I put it in a freezer.
My question - is it ok to shoot it at box speed, or it'll be better at let's say iso 80 or so? Thanks.

Always nice to see music videos still shot on film. New Blossoms single.
