Delicate spores II

Bonsoir tout le monde,
Voilà un dessin aux crayons de couleur que j'ai réalisé pour une affiche de festival de contes ^^
À bientôt!

Let's take a break from those cold winter posts to a pic along the prettiest road in NY on a summer night. Thev raid takes you past Cascade lake nestled between the beautiful Cascade mountains. It's a stunning drive and I just had to stop to capture the subtle sunset colors in the sky.

Estoy camuflado.

Sunrise in Italian Dolomites, summer 2022

Hey everyone! I'm hoping to pool some community knowledge and get recommendations for more creatives to follow!

I'm interested in naturalistic (not AI) #landscape and #nature #photography, #storytelling, #conservation, and #blackandwhite. Drop your suggestions down below; if we build up a good list I'll pin this to my profile for people to view as a resource.

Shout out to @geoff_eg for the great idea.

"Raking Light", Drakensberg 2024. We had risen in the dark to make the short but steep walk up to this view point on our final morning of a 75km traverse of the berg, and were greeted to views with such depth and light of a wonderful quality. The winds were strong but nothing could distract from the immensity of our surroundings.

'Hanging On'

A beautiful, large ancient oak tree with some remnants of autumn colour on a cold, frosty winter's morning. I've got many images of this tree, but I hope one day to have a set of nearly identical images through the different seasons.

I can't believe I've almost missed #WaterWednesday again. When I first started photography I often got called the #Waterfall guy because it's all I shot. Waterfalls became my way of learning #Composition in our local #Forest.

While the waterfall provided and obvious subject I could practice my framing, leading lines, and usage of foreground and mid ground elements to draw your eye to the main body of water.

“Don't look now, but I think he spotted us”

The incredible (and often overlooked) mountain landscape of the Isle of Harris, Scotland. This place is rugged and unvisited, partly because the beaches of the island steal away attention and partly because of its unforgiving character. Many of these areas are fairly unexplored in terms of photography and I'm excited to spend a bit more time doing just that over the coming years.

The film version of my image Alleviate. I took this frame while exploring the #PNW coasts of #Washington and the #olympicnationalpark area.

I loved the way the sunlight was highlighting the edges of all the moss on these Alder trees. A beautiful display of #nature
