The day's end.
Heavenly,
even now,
evenly
nearing the
dusky vow.
A birdsong
lingers a
little more.

Light study today.
Light is poetic. I love the work of Monet or another impressionist. It's not easy to show the intensity of the morning or evening light. So, let do this !

#Pixelcities: Rain in Tokyo.
I'm very pleased that within two weeks I managed to turn the sketches into full-fledged pixel art images and start the #Pixelcities series. Let's see how it goes further :)

A path at the edge of the wood on a frosty day. I enjoyed painting this one a lot.
Watercolour and gouache.
Bringing art to the beleaguered timeline.
The last of the jewelled illustrations 💎
Something to brighten up the timeline a bit

I got my prompts for #inktober all confused somehow, and out of order...but frankly I've kinda been doing my own thing anyway. ;) So I give you: Uncharted Thought Bubbles - a study for my next large canvas. (That said, I kinda love this study, and I'm not sure I can do it better. eeek!)
The colors are much closer to the oeuvre I've been using for the last year, and honestly...I may go work on some more of the really bright primary colors from the tiny oil. I've always been afraid of being bold with paint, I think...but gosh, those were fun colors.

of that which defies,
well, all you've ever known.
Are they a cloister or cult?
It's impossible to tell, since
no one has ever really seen them.
